Kamila has worked in health and wellness for years. She earned her bachelors degree in both biology and psychology from Marquette University. It was during her college years where Kamila earned All-American honors for tennis and was elected captain of the tennis team at Marquette. After years of working as a tennis pro in the local area, she decided to follow her passion and pursue a degree in rehabilitation. For years Kamila had seen many of her teammates and students fall victim to injury and she wanted to develop the tools needed to have a positive impact on her players. She received her master’s degree in physical therapy from Governors State University. It was here that she met her husband Tim; they have two children and live in the local area.
Kamila strongly believes in the biopsychosocial model (mind-body connection) and the power of positive psychology. She feels that no matter your age, history, or experience you can always improve and make a strong impact on your health, mindfulness, and wellbeing. Kamila has taken her treatment philosophy to heart with solid outcomes working with all populations: from professional athletes to those who have never exercised in their life.
Clinically, Kamila is a highly respected vestibular rehabilitation specialist. She has specific interests in orthopedics, balance and fall prevention, as well as pre and post-natal care. She works closely with her patients to develop a collaborative strategy to reach their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
