Celebrating 10 Years of IMPACT Physical Therapy & Sports Recovery

Celebrating 10 Years of IMPACT Physical Therapy & Sports Recovery

On May 3, 2016, IMPACT Physical Therapy & Sports Recovery opened its doors with one mission: deliver high quality care that helps people move better, feel better, and get back to the life they love.

As we head into our 10 Year Anniversary running January 1 through December 31, 2026, we are taking a moment to reflect on what this milestone really means. It is not just a date on the calendar. It is thousands of patient stories, countless recovery wins, and a community that has trusted us with the work that matters most: helping people return to movement with confidence.

A Decade of Helping People Move Forward

Over the past 10 years, we have had the privilege of supporting patients through:

  • Sports injuries and return to sport plans
  • Workplace aches and repetitive strain issues
  • Post surgical rehabilitation and functional rebuilding
  • Chronic pain and mobility limitations
  • Balance, strength, and performance goals at every age

Whether you are training for your next race, recovering from an injury, or trying to feel comfortable again during daily life, our focus stays consistent. We aim to identify the root cause, reduce pain, restore function, and build a long-term plan that helps you stay active.

What Makes IMPACT Different

Physical therapy is not one size fits all. Your lifestyle, your training, your job demands, and your pain history all matter.

Our approach is built on a few simple principles:

1) We evaluate the whole movement system

Pain is often the result of compensation patterns. A hip restriction can contribute to knee pain. A shoulder limitation can affect the neck. Our evaluations look at how your body moves as a system so treatment is more accurate and effective.

2) We build a plan you can actually follow

Progress happens when the plan fits your schedule and your reality. We focus on clear milestones, practical home exercises, and a plan that supports your work, sport, and daily routines.

3) We help prevent future setbacks

Rehab is only part of the outcome. Our goal is to help you return stronger and more resilient, so the same issue does not keep coming back.

Who We Serve

IMPACT supports a wide range of patients across the Chicago area, including:

  • Athletes in seasonal training and competitive sports
  • Office workers dealing with posture strain and stiffness
  • Parents and caregivers managing back, shoulder, and knee pain
  • Older adults focused on mobility, strength, and balance
  • Anyone who wants to move with less pain and more confidence

No matter where you start, the goal is the same: help you move better and keep moving.

Thank You for Being Part of Our Story

A 10 year milestone is built by patients who show up, do the work, ask questions, and trust the process. It is built by a team that cares deeply about outcomes and community. It is built by families, coaches, and local networks who send people our way because they have seen the results.

If you have been with us since the early days, thank you. If you are new to IMPACT, welcome. We are glad you are here.

Ready to Get Back to Feeling Your Best?

If pain, stiffness, or an injury is holding you back, an evaluation is the best first step. We will assess what is driving the issue and map a plan that supports your goals.

Schedule your physical therapy evaluation with IMPACT and take the next step toward moving better.
