Alyssa graduated from The University of Southern California while maintaining a professional dance career in Los Angeles for nearly a decade. She had the opportunity to work with numerous athletes and upon graduation, moved back to the east coast to continue her passions at the UPMC Rooney Sports Medicine Complex where she lead RTP testing, worked alongside surgeons with specialty in Hip Preservation, and served as the lead dance physical therapist for colleges, professional companies, and studios in the region.
Alyssa continues to participate in outreach as well as the continued growth and research the field of physical therapy has to offer. She remains keen to continued growth opportunities as it enables her to provide best care for all patients striving to achieve their goals.
Her personal interests include return to sport rehabilitation, hip preservation and microinstability, joint hypermobility, and post operative rehab.
In addition to joining the IMPACT team, Alyssa coaches at [solidcore] where she inspires clients to become the strongest versions of themselves. Alyssa believes the key to functional movement performance is to approach the whole person. She looks forward to continued growth opportunities in this field!
