Carducci, 31, of Chicago, grew up playing soccer, basketball and running cross country and track. She has been athletic and active for as long as she can remember.
Today, she credits the Chicago Recovery Room for her success as a marathon runner. Typically, she trains by running 30-40 miles a week and says thanks to the Chicago Recovery Room, she is able to have higher quality workouts and less lingering soreness. In addition, Caitlyn has shaved 30 minutes off her personal record time — a feat she says was accomplished with the help of the Chicago Recovery Room athletic trainers.
Caitlin first started using the Chicago Recovery Room after walking past its first location on Michigan Avenue. She dropped in one day and learned about the tools and services if offers to athletes of all levels. A regular user now, she has a customized routine which starts out with using a foam roller for soft tissue massage, followed by compression boots and ending with her personal favorite: the ice bath.
Currently, Caitlin is training for the CNO Financial Group Indianapolis Monumental Marathon on November 5 and considers consistent visits to the Chicago Recovery Room an essential part of her preparation.
