Courtney Anderson

PT, DPT

“As a physical therapist, I’ve always taken the approach of treating the whole person. There is not one simple fix for each diagnosis since every person has a different background and different goals. With this personalized approach, I am able to bond with each patient so I can treat the person in front of me, not just their diagnosis. This allows me to use the right treatment and skills to help my patients get better so they can return to the things they love to do.”

University of Wisconsin La Crosse, BS in Exercise and Sport Science, minor in Nutrition
Midwestern University, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Instrument Assisted STM: Certified Hawkgrips Practitioner, Level-I
Barbell Rehab Method Certification
Certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling – Level 1

As someone who played sports my whole life, specifically soccer, I have a special interest in working with athletes. Tearing my ACL during a soccer game is what led me to physical therapy, so I will always have a special place in my heart for this population. Although the recovery was hard, I am able to better empathize with what my patients are going through. I also played basketball, ran track, and have attempted pretty much any sport that presented itself. Recently, I was certified in Hawkgrips instrument assisted STM and am interested in pursuing certifications in strength and conditioning, barbell athlete training, and dry needling. Outside of the clinic, you can find me playing soccer, at the beach with friends, or planning my next trip; being from Minnesota and attending undergraduate school in Wisconsin – I have friends and family from all over.
