“As a physical therapist, I relish in the abundance of opportunities to be creative. My drive comes from having the freedom to be imaginative as well as seeing my patients show remarkable courage and bravery as they push down a long and difficult road to recovery. I enjoy working with patients to develop a customized therapy plan to help them reach their goals and improve overall function and quality of life.”

Professional Interests

Meghan is a highly qualified physical therapist with 5 years’ experience providing excellent care to patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries. She was born and raised in Champaign/Urbana and grew up in a  training room at the local university in town. Seeing her father, an athletic trainer, work with athletes inspired her to become a physical therapist.

Meghan is a University of Illinois graduate and bronze tablet recipient. She graduated from Bradley University with her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013 and became a board-certified sports clinical specialist in 2017. She recently became certified in blood flow restriction as a means to improve strength and muscle hypertrophy earlier in the rehabilitative process. She has a passion for helping others and specializes in sports rehabilitation, post-surgical rehab, and general orthopedics.

Meghan understands that knowledge and education is key in continuing to provide high-quality care to her patients and is eager to grow in areas of manual therapy and sports performance. She is looking to advance her practice by studying to become a certified strength and conditioning specialist in the future.

In her spare time, Meghan enjoys attending local high school and university sport events as well as jogging, reading, and finding the best donuts, cookies, and coffee around town!
